Can sneakers be recycled ?

This is a good a question... taking classes here and there I learn a fun fact ... adidas started in around 2018/ 2019 . Start to recycle plastic bottle from the ocean with partnering with trash collectors and environmental organizations parley .. the protection were 2,810 tons from reaching the ocean ... how does this work ? Plastics are collected at the adidas process center ... adidas uses a process called PET , polyethylene terephalate. The process crushes, washes dehydrated the waste to small flakes ... adidas melts this down to polyester yarn. For different parts of the shoe ..,top(upper) and other clothing . This also meets in comfort standards . This method uses less water to protect the environment..... I didn’t know this ... and want to share my knowledge... I’m not a expert or work for adidas ... info from classes and other resources .. this is another reason why I love adidas ...adidas also recycled old sneakers to redesign new ones ..
